We have designed a range of accessories for your Penthouse Pen. You can turn your cat’s home into an adventure playground with ramps and shelves and make your own life easier with extra doors, recessed litter trays and castors.

Shelves
In our view, a shelf is the most appreciated accessory you can provide within the pen. Cats really enjoy a perch to sit on, particularly nursing queens who want the odd break from the family. Shelves are made from the same easy-clean materials as Penthouse Pens and come in two widths and with clips to attach the shelf at whatever level you want.
On ‘THE DOMAIN’ model, shelves are supported at one end by a support attached to the central post because of its extra length. Please ring or email if you want advice on shelves for this model.
Castors
If a shelf is the most appreciated accessory by cats, castors are the most appreciated by the owner. An enclosure with castors can be easily moved for clearing up of spilt litter or any other mess that has been scattered out of the cat pen.
Castors are heavy duty with 5cm (2″) diameter nylon double wheels and a double ball race pivot. They add 7cm (2.75 inches) to the overall height of a pen.
All Penthouse Pens except ‘THE DOMAIN’ and ‘FOLDING FLATLET’ can fit castors.
Stands
Stands are available for the ‘CHALET’, ‘STACKER’, ‘MEWS’ and ‘KITTENING PEN’ to raise the cat cage by about 45cm (18″). This can make handling the cats and cleaning out the pen very much easier. The feet of the Penthouse Pen fit securely into location points at the top of the Stand and castors can also be fitted.
Recessed Litter Tray
This is predominantly used with multi-tier models like the ‘APARTMENT’. A reinforced hole is cut in the upper floor and two litter trays are supplied so the hole can be blocked off while the other tray is cleaned. If you already have your own litter trays then we will cut the hole to fit.
Flooring
This is 4.5mm thick beige UV-stabilised polypropylene that is lightly embossed on one side for better grip and smooth on the other. This material is also used for boxing in part of a pen and for sneeze barriers.
Litter Barriers
Litter barriers can be fitted to the ‘STACKER’ and to ‘CHALET’, ‘MEWS’ and ‘APARTMENT’ pens supplied in tier form. Litter barriers are machined to fit exactly so that no litter granules can fall from the upper run into the lower.
Sneeze Barriers
Sneeze barriers fit any of our Penthouse Pens. They are normally only required when cats from different environments are housed in adjacent enclosures, in which case they are attached by hooks to the mesh of the adjoining pens.
Roofs
Roofs are available for all Penthouse Pens to cover the complete cat pen or part of it. They are manufactured from bronze tinted UV-stabilised twinwall polycarbonate sheet.
