Materials
All materials used to make our cat pens have been selected to provide an enclosure that is long-lasting, lightweight, easily cleaned and disinfected and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Penthouse Pens are made from black or white tubular UPVC frames that is UV-stabilised for sunlight. The mesh is stainless steel as are all fixings. The pens are assembled with glass-reinforced plastic clamps with stainless steel machine screws. We make all of our injection-moulded fittings from engineering-grade plastics and these also come in black or white.
Colours
You can have an entirely white or entirely black cat pen or, for example, a white frame with black fittings or a black frame with white fittings.
Our floors are oatmeal-coloured and made from 4.5mm (3/16″) thick, UV-stabilised polypropylene that is smooth on one side and lightly embossed on the other for better grip. All Penthouse Pens are supplied with floors except The Domain that is designed to sit directly on the ground.
